AFRI 334 - Introduction to African Art3 credits Description This course will introduce students to the multi-faceted arts of Africa, from traditional forms to contemporary artistic manifestations. Students will be introduced to the broad spectrum of works, issues, practices, and belief systems, which are often radically different from those with which they are familiar but which challenge their perception of the visual arts and their definitions of aesthetics.
