Description
Examines the social construction of gender, especially as it relates to issues of stratification and inequality. Related topics include gender socialization, gendered violence, sexuality, family, the labor market, and workplace.

Prerequisite/Corequisite
Prerequisite: 280 or Women’s Studies 200 or consent of instructor.

Note
Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
